I'm a baby libertarian
Hello, my name is Paul Holcombe and I recently registered to vote as a Libertarian.  I am kind of excited considering this is my first time in my thrity years of existence on this planet that I have regeistered to vote.  I hope to learn more about the Libertarian philosophy because I am rather ignorant when it comes to politics.  I recently purchased two books that I find might be helpful in my quest to understand the libertarian party.  One book is by F.A. Hayek and it is called, "The Fatal Conceit: The Errors of Socialism.  The other book is the most recent offering by Michael Shermer and it is titled, "The Mind ofthe Market."  I also recently purchased a book by Ron Paul called "A Foregin Policy of Freedom."  I currently live in Pittsburg, KS and I attend Pittsburg State University where, hopefully, I will eventually get a degree in the area of Automotive Technology (supposedly we have one of the best programs in the country) and a minor in my favorite subject, Philosophy.

Thank you for reading this.

Re: I'm a baby libertarian

Hi Paul - welcome aboard. I am excited that you have registered as a Libertarian too! I have met dozens of quality people and had a lot of fun as an activist for the LPKS and hope you have the same experience. It's great to hear you are in Pittsburg. I think this is fertile ground for us. If you would like to start a local group in this area (now or in the future) please contact me or one of our other party officers. I look forward to meeting you.
