We have two events coming up that we need staff for booths. We will be handing out LPKS materials to people looking for an alternative to the demopublicans. We need YOUR help working the booths and letting people know there is a viable alternative to the R’s & D’s.

In Eastern Kansas – Olathe, we will have a booth at the Old Settlers Days celebration. This event always draws in the neighborhood of 100,000 people over 3 days. Old Settlers will happen September 4^th, 5^th & 6^th. (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) There is a big parade on Saturday in conjunction with this event. We will have a tent set up and have the LP materials to hand out. We usually set up the world smallest political quiz for people to take as well.

FYI: The Old settlers group has moved us this year to the same section where the democrats and republicans will be. We get to compete head to head and it will be a blast!

The other big event we have coming up is the Kansas State Fair booth. Dates; September 5^th thru the 14^th. (TEN DAYS)  This booth is in the Meadowlark building -- Climate controlled so no rain or extreme heat to deal with. The booth is on the north wall and is across from the secretary of state booth, a great location and last year we had one of the best results from a fair in this location.
