MY NAME AS DISTRICT 4 HOUSE CANDIDATE IS SPELLED WRONG. THE FIRST NAME IS GORDON, NOT GORDEN. THIS IS ALSO WHAT THE STATE OF KANSAS HAS IN THEIR RECORDS.

    Ammending documents

V, 1, 1a add: Each Paragraph, Section or Sub Section changed shall be treated as a separate amendment, and voted on separately at the convention. Members may propose amendments to the Executive Committee, but may not propose amendments at the convention. A proposed amendment signed by 10 members shall be considered the same as if it was proposed by the Executive Committee.

  • commented on Since almost everything is left up to the By-Laws, it should be more clear how they are changed. 2016-01-30 12:28:47 -0600
On the suggested change to ARTICLE XI by Gordon Bakken, I think it gives too much power to the Ex Com. For example, after the convention they could change the platform, and that would stand through the election and until the next Convention. Amendments should be in effect only when passed by the Convention. Scratch “Amendments are in effect when passed by the Committee, but expire at the time the next State Convention is convened.”

    Add "(LPKS)"

In Article I. NAME add "(LPKS)" after the Libertarian Party of Kansas since the term LPKS is used throughout the rest of the document.
