2016 LPKS Nominating Convention
The Libertarian Party of Kansas nominates our candidates for public office for the 2016 elections (as a minor party we still use the convention rather than the primary process) we will have some other party business as well, including electing some officers in the new rotation. The 3 officer positions to be elected will be the State Chair, 1st District Coordinator & the 3rd District Coordinator.
The convention is open to all, however, only those registered to vote as a Libertarian in the state of Kansas may vote at the convention.

Julie Borowski is a Policy Analyst at FreedomWorks, an organization dedicated to lower taxes, less government, and more freedom. She also runs an independent YouTube channel where she gives her opinions on current events in an entertaining manner. Her writings have been published in numerous newspapers and online outlets, including Townhall, Daily Caller, Washington Examiner, and Red State. She has appeared on the Stossel show with John Stossel and the Independents on Fox Business News. She has spoken at conferences such as the Liberty Political Action Conference, International Students for Liberty Conference, LibertyForum, Smart Girl Politics Summit, and more. She won the CPAC’s Blogbash Video of the Year in 2014. Julie has volunteered for political candidates in Kentucky and in her home state of Maryland. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Frostburg State University in May 2010 where she studied political science, economics and international studies. She is now located in Washington, D.C.
